General Headphone Audio

Right it's not taken long, any recommendations for a XLR cable for HE6 SE2? I'm presuming it's not like the whole Monster HDMI era where people thought buying a £1k cable was somehow value for money.

Indeed just buy a cable that is nicely constructed and not too heavy. That;s it really. Tripowin seem to be the go to, or Openheart on Aliexpress.

The openheart cable I bought for my DCA and the 4.4mm to 1/4 adapter are really nice quality for the price they ask, cant go wrong with them I don't think.

I think I got the same one.

This one?

But what I really like, although pretty expensive is this 4.4mm extension cable.

It was this adaptor that i bought, to match the cable https://www.aliexpress.com/item/100...o.order_list.order_list_main.5.6d3018025LLgbR

Just double check the left and right markings as my last openheart cable put the marker on the wrong channel lol which meant L needed to be connected to R on the headphones end.

Can happen sometimes!

Okay, tell me I am mad....but also perhaps smart....

I want a better cable for my IEM, with those swappable end connection for home use. They are all 0.78 2pin.

All the decent cables I find are like £50 or something or I can just get this....It's the Dunu Titan S2.

I sure don't need another pair of IEM, especially as this one looks like it treads on the same sound signature similar to the Truthear/Cadenzer, but these cables are not cheap and from the reviews, this cable alone is worth getting it for when it was £70 but it is now under £50 on sale, plus lots of tips i can try and a case!

Every time I reconnect the cable on my headphones i use this website to check the channels now.

Tbh yeah you're getting a fair whack for your money there. DUNU make some quality gear.

Got a link to those?

search

DUNU TITAN S2 HlFl Dynamic Driver In-Ear Earphone Hi-Res Audio Earbuds 0.78mm 3.5mm 4.4mm Q-Lock Interchangeable Plug TITANs 2

With a code 9CDUK395 for £5 off and i had some coins to bring it down to £49 something.

Come to think of it, similar sound signature is not a bad thing, at least I know I will enjoy it.

Side note, I find the EW300 more comfortable than the Truthear…don’t think I can use it for long sessions, like on a long flight. Going to stick with EW300 for that I think and won’t be getting the Pure.

OK. I ordered the accessory pack with the free IEM. Cable, Case and tips? Even for just those it's decent value.

Because I have a weird streak, I ordered it in the bright blue.

I'm starting to think I might be easily influenced.

Fosi Audio has a new DAC/Pre/HPamp in compact form factor coming this month, actually looks cool and it has XLR output at the back, with 12v trigger in AND out, Fiio are you taking notes?!
