Borderlands 4 (2025)

Still need to complete 3. Loved 1,2 Pre-Sequel and TFTB but couldn't get into 3!
I really struggled with 3. Restarted it a couple of times and never got anywere, but the threat of BL3 motivated me to finally play through it.

The main story is... ok nothing great but the side quests have some really good humour. I still have the DLC to do, but from what I hear that is where the game actually picks up.

Looking forward to 4 but still not sure which version to get!

Played through 1 and 2 co-op with my daughter and enjoyed them both however, I also struggled with 3 and Tiny Tina's Wonderlands later. I'll no doubt get 4 at some point as I haven't played a decent co-op shooter in a long time.

So this is actually coming out in the uk at 5pm on thursday the 11th, not the 12th as I had thought

Pre-ordered this from CDKeys/Loaded, which probably means I won’t get the key until late and won’t be able to preload. But I have most of the following week off, YaY Me!

Been watching some of Moxsy’s videos, the new characters are looking really good along with the gun play. I don’t know what system he’s playing on, I assume a top end one but performance was looking pretty good and everything seemed smooth, so I’m hopeful this will run well out of the box.

Checked with CDKeys/Loaded, although the game is set for release on the 11th Sept in the UK they won't release the keys until the official release date on their website, 12th Sept. I'm querying this with them and they've asked for the link to the developers release schedule, so fingers crossed we can get the key on the 11th Sept.

Still got to download it (do we know the install size?), so chances are I won’t be playing until Friday either. Just hoping to get the key earlier enough that I can start when I finish work at 5pm on the Friday.

I'm guessing it will be somewhere in the 100gb region but thats fine, will download in less time than it takes me to eat a takeaway :)

I think I'm going to have to pre-order. I didn't really like 3 much but loved 1 and 2 so I think I'll want to play day 1

Do people think the other versions with the added DLC are worth the cost? I was trying to convince myself it wasn't but then I thought hang on, if each DC was £10 separately then the super deluxe at £83.99 is a good price? What's it got, 6 DLCs? So that's like £60 and then £23.99 for the actual game. I have no idea lol. I like the idea of new missions, bosses and stories. Hmm!

I saw some big streamer group had some exclusive access. I don't have time to watch a group of 30-40 year old men act like they're 16 year olds in front of a camera, but hows the game looking?

I like that theyre treating it a bit more live servicey, so soon after launch there is already new boss, new legendary weapons etc
