Great lap from Max. Weird that Russell didn't get the mediums he wanted. Yuki 3/4s of a second behind Max and it still counts as one of his better qualis...

Mclaren not looking good all qualifying, not surprised Max nicked it. Hopefully the McLaren race pace and deg will help them pass Max. Clutching at straws for Ferrari really, can’t see them doing much here

Almost guaranteed that it's a Max/Oscar 1/2 after the first corner (crashes not withstanding).. not sure Lando has the killer instinct to get through that first corner even holding second place.. and more likely down to 3rd or 4th..

Great lap from Max. Not sure he will keep that position with the McLarens behind him though.

The Ferrari boys probably did about as best as they could/probably wasn't anything more in that car. Leclerc even said his 1st Q3 lap was about as perfect a lap as he could do. Good to see Lewis only a tenth behind Leclercs supposedly perfect lap! Shame he has a 5 place grid drop.
