So I'm now after a TV wall mount, the 2 iv bought in the past were cheetah branded model APTMM2B.
This mount is solid and served me well on my 75 inch TV so wanted another one only issue is I bought these in the past for 15 quid and now they are like 40 quid.

Anyone know of a wall mount that's solid and reliable and well priced? I need vesa 600x400 so covers me if I upgrade the 50 Inch TV to something bigger in future

Jokes aside, just go with whatever, I wasn't very trusting in cheap ones, until I took a risk, and it's fine - I did go for something that would support a bigger TV than mine, with a higher weight capacity though, for piece of mind :)
Prior to this I was about to waste a lot of money on an overpriced one, then @Armageus pulled a Jedi mind trick/Uno Reverso on me and I caved
It worked out perfectly, and I've even wall mounted my monitor now, and my PC will be next, I think I've got a wall mount addiction now :P

I'm after a mount for a 65" to go on a plasterboard wall, looked at quite a few on Amazon, although I put in the search for plasterboard walls when I look at the question and answer section it says not suitable for plasterboard on every mount I've looked at, so anyone have a suggestion ?

@Armageus will know :) He's a fountain of wall mount knowledge ;)

Does the mount need to move? If not then I would recommend this.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/VonHaus-37-70-Wire-Mount-Bracket/dp/B07L8JBFXL

Most big metal mounts can't be pushed flat to the wall. Where this bracket is basically just a picture frame hanger for a TV. Easily levelled if you don't quite install the brackets perfectly.

The two hanging brackets are bolted heavily to the wall. I was able to hang off mine and they have a big enough lip that the wire holding up the TV could never slip off, even if you lift the TV to plug in cables.

That wire one looks interesting,
TV is going on a brick wall/ chimney wall and won't be moving around.
Gonna be interesting once I get the room sorted. Will be setting up all my games consoles on it too.

That's exactly where mine is. I don't use the chimney for a fire so I drilled out a hole behind the TV to feed all power and cabling inside the chimney. I put skybox and stuff in the fireplace on a shelf.

Bit dusty behind there :D. You can use an inch space at the bottom to level it from touching the wall but I didn't bother. Don't notice it looking at it from a sofa.

You shouldn't worry too much about the mount itself, fixing it correctly to your wall is the main thing, especially if plasterboard.

I have an Amazon mount for my 100", but luckily it's into a brick internal wall with x8 M8 anchor bolts, I I could probably hang a car off it.

ok so the job is done, tv mounted onto the wall.
next step is the wires, now i could use some trunking around the left side of the tv or the more difficult bit is drilling through the chimney fireplace area. the part 4 inches below the tv is plasterboard that goes to the hollow area the fireplace used to be then could drill left side of chimney to pass wires through although i got no idea how to drill a hole that big through that much brick. my drill barely managed the wall plugs holes (10 x 80 plug but drilled depth of 110mm).

then there is the step of added some short of shelves to the left side recessed area left of the chimney. looking for cube sections put put various stuff in like the wii, n64 etc
here are the pics:

the old tv stand will be chucked away.

just to add the existing TV is nackered, has lines going down it so looking to replace it, its a 49 incher so could go larger, maybe with something that runs up to the edge of the chimney in which case trunking would mostly be hidden by the tv and work out ok?

Can anyone Photoshop some shelves or give some ideas on what to do on the left side? Do I go with a wood slat back then shelves ?

You had an AP between a solid wall and an RF shielded screen, you're a monster :D
Yep but got full speed 900meg on speed test. It's bridge to the access point in the room above.
Tried drilling a hole to put a cable through using a foot and a half drill bit. It went through the floor but other end didn't come out, not sure where it ended up. Gave up and went wireless.
