Alien TV series (Alien Earth) : 2025

Neither Doogie Howser M.D., Jim Robinson or Danny Cordray get any sort alert when the tracking and cameras in their most expensive investments is suddenly turned off, nor when 2 of the 5 deadly creatures they just got paid $20 billion for have escaped their containment.

Compared to last weeks episode it dropped off slightly for me again. Plenty of tension build up and got to wait for next week to see how it pans out.

The eyeball / sheep seems to be the only one who's actually trying to survive / be smart about things. I'm more invested with the eyeball than the kids for now.

I quite enjoyed the episode to be honest. Love the creepy eye creature, how it’s clearly learning and intervening at points to seemingly create problems is great. Why is Kirch acting the way he is?

It’s safe to say IQ levels in the future dropped dramatically. I care not one jot about any of the people in this. The only interesting things are the eye and the robot.

Its safe to say that IQ levels have dropped dramatically in just the last 50 years, let alone another 100 ! :)

Don't you think it would make sense to limit the hybrids strength?
I assume at some point, possibly even as a result of the events that happen here, both hybrids and full synthetics get downgraded. Isnt there a bit in one of the Alien movies where Ash or Bishop say something along the lines of synths being downgraded for some reason? Maybe what we are seeing here is the cause for that downgrade

Eyeball thing is the most interesting, I'm actually wondering if the weird kid that thought she was pregnant is infected somehow. It's not like synths are robots, they're biological tissue just far more durable and there was a scene early on where it looked like the eye monster might have touched her eye.

Aren't all of the specimens parasitic?

Who fires someone, but leaves them with god level access to their most critical assets. And does nobody except the synth bother monitoring the CCTV or guard the lab?

I know it would be boring if everyone was competent and nothing happened. But this is taking idiocy and incompetence a bit beyond belief.
