Bruno Fernandes simply cannot play in this position. Argue about Amorim's system and his inflexibility over it all you like, but playing that particular square peg in a round hole is where one of the real problems seems to be.

Glad Neville is mentioning the system again.

Amorim absolutely refuses to try anything else, we're playing with 5 defenders and can't defend. It just seems futile however you look at it.

These 'positive' stats seem to just be Cunha (previously) and Mbeumo taking potshots, and that's about it. No real threat there.

That's not to say this is a good squad, it has clear flaws, but Amorim doesn't want to compensate for them.
