i just gone full Noctua in my SFF build and im finding at about 40% PWM in my intake fans i get noise from the case grills, its a well known problem.
i decided to have a look for the 5mm spacers you can get that completely remover the fan noose and errr WOW they range from £12 to £21 each, with the cheaper been mostly out of stock

i wont be paying £63 + postage for 3 x 5mm spacers, as anyone used a alternative they can recommend

spacer in question
Noctua NA-IS1-12 Sx2 Inlet Side Spacers for 120mm Fan Beige/Brown

this is the one friend i dont have, maybe i need to recruit one more friend haha
Ask in the 3d printers section
Someone in there very kindly printed me
Some parts to repair my Sony wh1000xm4
As I thought the price to buy the parts was pretty extortionate
Given what they were
They printed them for me including extra spare ones
Did it basically immediately and straight in the post
Wouldn't even take anything for doing it either
Which was extremely kind of them

Drop me a PM with your address. First one printing now in a lovely translucent blue (that's what was loaded up so that's what you get :D)

3 yeah?

First one came out ok, test fits fine onto an NF12 - you do need to remove the vibration pads though in case you weren't aware (I hadn't thought of that)

So now you have them and to keep the discussion open, do they make a noticeable difference?
I wondered if they could vibrate more since you need to remove the dampening pads?

in my case the ones you made i put on my 3 lower intake fans.
i have 3 x NF A12 pwm Premium, and ever at very low RPM you could hear the turbulence noise, now genuinely silent

they have done an amazing job, but i dont think i would have paid £63 for 3 from Noctua

Where are you looking that you'd be paying £63 for 3? , you get 2 in the pack that are £13 on the rainforest.
