All threads taking ages to load because of some hang-up over socials.

Fine here, suspect it's a browser Adblock plugin causing the issue.

Happening for me too with the share icons, but they load eventually.

Still happens with uBlock Lite turned off. (Chrome + Win 11)
Tried pc + laptop, both have the issue. (Chrome + Win 11)
Tried Edge, also has the issue. (Edge + Win 11)

The slow request is brands.svg from Cloudflare. (approx 35 seconds)

Wonder if it's related to this:

All is fine here, but I'm using Brave and a PiHole so possibly blocking that advertising domain.

What I have noticed is that stupid banner at the bottom asking me to allow notifications has reappeared. How can I get that to go away permanently?

I had problems getting the site to load more than half a screen a few hours ago. All good now.

E. I spoke too soon. It's just happened again. Had to close my browser and reopen it to get navigation working.

Just block them. Problem solved!

Levity aside, I haven't seen this issue with uBO, Brave blocker or content blocking in Safari.
