Dexter - Resurrection (2025)

I enjoyed it as well. I look forward to more seasons and hope that we see a return of Charlie and they keep up with the high profile actors. It’s just a real pity they killed off Hannah as I would have loved to see Yvonne Strahovski return.

Pretty decent though the last episode was a bit clunky and predictable compared to the rest. The line about calling it in did make me laugh.
 
I've really loved this season. I can't believe I would have after, IMO, Dexter ran it's course all those years back and I got bored of the same plot.

The only issue I had with the finale was
How Dexter had cling film, body cutting tools, black bags and then be able to get out of Prater's house so easily, then get the boat and dispose of the body, is far too convenient. I will forgive them, as it was a great series. I wouldn't mind a different location again (the UK??) for the next season.
 
Well, really enjoyed that.

I am a Dexter fan and rewatched them all the last year. But as above had ran it's course, some seasons had lots of issues etc.

Pacing, supporting cast, location, story. All nailed it really on this one.

Yeah the the finale was a bit clunky when it came to stuff like that compared to the rest of the season.

Overseas like the UK would be an interesting direction to take Dexter in as it adds an unfamiliar element for Dexter to deal with as well.

Don't have high hopes? this season has been one of the better shows out there recently aside from the finale where it feels like they kind of wrote themselves into a predictable ending and then lost interest as the production is a bit clumsy compared to the rest of the season.
 
Enjoyed that, not quite up the standard of 1-4 but very good and certainly makes up for the abomination of the previous series. Last ep was stupid tho and probably missed a few moments where they could have really captured the essence of Dexter.

Good stuff, here's hoping s2 carries on the good.

It's made me go back and watch the OG series again. Very glad I did. S1 and S4 in particular. Just started S5 and remember nothing between now and the finale.

Isn’t it established early on that has all sorts of souvenirs from the serial killers? He has the slide case so it wouldn’t be out of the question that he had his kill kit!
