I didn't say Hi.

I've been a member for a while now but apparently I'm that guy that just walks into a room and starts talking at you.
I live close to York having moved here two years ago from South Africa. I've been into PCs ever since I received my Dad's hand-me-down XT with a green screen, two 5.25" floppy drives and a keyboard with the F keys down the left side.
I'm a father of two, daily biker (the kind that takes petrol), Cub Scout Leader, inverted mouse heathen, and my PC has no exhaust fans.

I have precious few interesting facts about me so chucking that in there seemed necessary.
I’ve spent the last eight years deliberately getting lost on my 990 Adventure which I love enough to have brought with me from ZA. Since it seems to be appreciating in value I decided to spare it from daily commuting duty and bought my father-in-law’s R nineT. Now it’s just a case of seeing how long this saffer can survive commuting through winter on a naked bike.
