The T is the best bitThe T ruins it
I will try this and report back.BLT by far. its just a magical combo. heavily peppered mayo, a neutral lettuce and ripe tomato, bacon done well with a decent amount of fat content. sublime.
Even sandwiches don't know what to call themselves anymore... where are we heading..Had a really tasty sandwich at work the other day. Not sure exactly what was in it, but according to the attached Post-it note, it was called "Kevin".
When I worked in Belgravia, there was a sandwich shop that did a Belgravia melt. Toasted ciabatta, chicken escalope, streaky bacon, cheese, lettuce, pickles, tomato slices, mustard and mayo. It was epic.Mine is the chicken escalope with mayo, pepper and lettuce in a soft white bap from Munchies on Marshalsea Road in Southwark. Used to have at least one a week when I worked around the corner.
