Aquiss

ONT just swapped out, EE activated.

Code:
64 bytes from 1.1.1.1: icmp_seq=5 ttl=56 time=5.88 ms
64 bytes from 1.1.1.1: icmp_seq=6 ttl=56 time=5.98 ms
64 bytes from 1.1.1.1: icmp_seq=7 ttl=56 time=5.98 ms
64 bytes from 1.1.1.1: icmp_seq=8 ttl=56 time=5.94 ms

:D
Did you get a decent monthly deal on that? IDNet / Zen / EE seem to be ~65pm mark at the moment. I'd need to upgrade my switches at home for that extra 600Mbps too

It was £59.99 I think, or £60 for a short while which is when I ordered it. I also get money off my main SIM with them so it ends up being cheaper than Aquiss. I do lose static IP but I don’t need one anymore.

Not bad. Seems I can get £60.99pm atm

I imagine they keep a record of which ONTs we all have so they know when you need a faster version.
Definitely think I'll give Plusnet ago next, maybe even go for the 900mb one which will be the same or cheaper than Aquiss at 300mb.

Upgrade to 1200 / 1200 went through without issue, Booked it last week and CF came out Tuesday to swap the ONT to one that has a 2.5gb port, can upgrade to 2500 / 2500 later on now with just a profile switch.

Have to say the few times I've reached out Martin seems to get my tickets and deals with them quickly.

Apparently the beta is rolling out so you can upgrade or downgrade in your billing account. Not on mine yet but should be good when rolled out. They take feedback seriously and I think the service is worth the premium over other ISP.

Showing now, I can upgrade to 2500 / 2500 in the portal (not going to for now as 1200 is enough for my needs)

Should be switching over to Aquiss tomorrow. I can only get Openreach services at the flat so have gone with the Pure Fibre 1000 package (am coming from the same speed package on no one Internet).

**Edit** Why is the forum "correcting" my spelling?! no one Internet isn't three words .

Hmm... guessing some kind of anti text speak filter? Not sure.

Which modem router are you going with?

NoIdea on the filter (bet that is separated into two words :) **edit** well it didn't do it for NoIdea but no one still does  ).

I picked up my first Ubiquiti kit and have both a Cloud Gateway Fiber router and U7 Pro Max AP to setup. Never used Ubiquiti kit before so going to be fun.

I had the emails from Aquiss this morning to say that the process has been completed, but it's been a long time since I have swapped ISP's and the existing no one router and connection are still working. I thought that at the point the new service had been provisioned, any old kit or credentials would stop and that would be my queue to swap over credentials or kit. I'm going to switch off the old Fritzbox that I had from no one and plug in the Cloud Gateway Fiber router shortly, and start the setup.

If it all goes wrong, then at least I am off work today and don't have to worry about trying to get it fixed before a meeting :D.

Just ordered a package with Aquiss, have an ONT box already, but it has no power and no power cable, so I suspect from speaking to Martin I'm going to have to go through the whole shebang of getting an engineer out to replace it.

There Openreach rices are very high even with some discount.

EE & BT are cheaper with the yearly price increases and no discounts (EE 12 month contract is even few £ cheaper then the discounted Aquiss price)

I looks like most of these sort of providers only offer good pricing on networks like Cityfibre.

Exactly why I'm not hanging around for year 2, if it was slightly more expensive then fine but it's a lot more.
Looking at Zen next I think in November, surely they are better than the likes of Plusnet, Sky and BT.

I'd rather pay a little bit extra for the customer service than the horrendous service i've had with VM - when VM works it's fine for me, but had quite a few issues. Was hoping CF would be enabled in my area but alas.
