Downsides wise, did you tell it, that it had 20 seconds to comply?I've been trying that out for the last month or so.
Has its perks but also has its down sides

I did but it didn't listen!Downsides wise, did you tell it, that it had 20 seconds to comply?![]()
I'd assume it's met the same fate as Mr Kinney?I did but it didn't listen!
Just ran very sluggishly particularly on startup. All updates were done but it just didn't seem as fast as 10.What issues did you have?
Until game developers stop using Directx for the game development, they aren't going anywhere. If Nvidia and AMD decides to stop releasing drivers for a Win10, everyone else will just follow.
Nvidia already announced that didn't they? No more driver releases for 10 after october from then it'll be 11 only its the thing that puts me off grabbing ESU its the hassle with this sort of stuff
It shouldn't include the UK, but it will depend on how they verify residency in the EU. Maybe a VPN would suffice, or maybe you'll need some kind of information recorded on your Microsoft Account that validates your entitlement. Not sure if it includes the UK but will make some people happy they don't need to jump through hoops or pay.

For me the sticking point isn't the cost, it's the requirement to have a MS account. Not sure if it includes the UK but will make some people happy they don't need to jump through hoops or pay.

Does it need to be logged in all the time or can you just login to enroll and then go back to a local account? For me the sticking point isn't the cost, it's the requirement to have a MS account.
I know MS can link data to specific machine ID's but i just disagree at a fundamental level with the idea of cajoling people into signing up for online accounts.
I've heard you can switch back to a local account once enrolled.Does it need to be logged in all the time or can you just login to enroll and then go back to a local account?
It's getting harder to skip the windows 11 requirement for an online login, still possible but annoying.
