Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [27th - 29th September 2025]

When do we say it’s been a bad start ?

We can’t prolong this “slow start” for too much longer tbh.

Let’s see where we are at the end of October.

Forest at home, Brighton away, Fulham at home.

Forest will be tough, and Brighton are our bogey team (especially away), but if we don’t get six points from those three games, we’ll be in trouble.

Obviously there are two Champions League matches in there as well, which we ideally want to win, so rotation will play a big part.

Just got back from the game and we got everything we deserved if I’m honest, we scored and thought we could grind out a win and didn’t look to play football, plan was working until pope ****** us over with almost the last kick of the game.

Don’t get me wrong, he was absolutely at fault for the second goal, but he had kept us in it throughout the match with some great saves, so I think it’s harsh to say he ****** us over.

So He did his job, how many times go you see the likes of Allison or Ederson make great saves through the game and the **** the team over in the final few minutes, almost never, sadly it’s a regular habit with pope, which is why we have been looking to replace him for the last year.

This, it’s going to take a while to get used to not playing with one of the best strikers in the world(I was just sick in my mouth a little just then) Wissa and big Nick will get the required goals, but we were pretty much set up to make chances for him, but we’re now playing with 2 totally different strikers

We started the exact same way last season but this time with much harder games. Our defence is superb just a few tweaks are needed in the middle and the forwards need to up their game. Barns and Gordon in particular.
