No, just stick with it until it’s knackered.
Yes it should, least how it work on mine.So I recently got an 11, before this I had a 4 (cracked screen and water got in)
I’ve been trying to use sleep tracking .. however I still seem to get some notifications for some reason, isn’t sleep mode meant to disable notifications?

Under the sleep focus, click on the schedule then go to “schedule and options”. Make sure “use schedule for sleep focus” is enabled if you want it to turn on automatically.
Well I wear it for sleep tracking. what the Apple health app is basic good information, but then theirs tons of Apps that might do better job for it. Might as well get a few series second hand one though if its just for that. How do people find the sleep tracking? Is is actually useful? My wife has a Garmin Swim2 that she uses for tracking her exercise and her swimming. Unfortunately she also has epilepsy and surfers from night time seizures. She would like to use an Apple watch to track how he actually sleeps to see if any patterns can be discovered and also to see if she has a bad night sleep wise does hat lead to being a cause of seizures the next night due to tiredness. Her issue is really whether to get an Apple watch cheap second hand just to do this or to spend a bit more for a new one and replace the Garmin altogether. Im leaning towards just getting a new one and use all the health tracking options just to see if anything shows up.........not sure when she would charge it mind you but we can cross that bridge when we come to it....
Can you recommend any? I'd like to see more sleep tracking data if possible.Well I wear it for sleep tracking. what the Apple health app is basic good information, but then theirs tons of Apps that might do better job for it. Well as I say if she was going to use it to track everything else like the swimming and exercise it may be better to get the new one even if just for the sake of battery life. I'll have a look at the apps for sleep tracking, thanks.Well I wear it for sleep tracking. what the Apple health app is basic good information, but then theirs tons of Apps that might do better job for it. I have tried some but their are pretty costly for what they offer. some recording my snoring at the time ( before I got an operation)..which was..creepy.Can you recommend any? I'd like to see more sleep tracking data if possible.
I used to track mine, I don't really know what the point is. It's not as though you can do anything about it, just look at the results. How do people find the sleep tracking?

Its not a sleeping issue in terms of the epilepsy itself. Its just looking for patterns of sleep to see if there is a correlation. there's a million potential causes and triggers and simply having a rough idea of quality of sleep would be beneficial in terms of narrowing down any patterns. Its not a need for forensic accuracy for medical purposes in that respect.I used to track mine, I don't really know what the point is. I wouldn't recommended for a legit sleeping issue connected with epilepsy etc. Most Apps are of course basing all their Info off the same sensors on the hardware size, a lot of them I assume have different better algorithms for Sleeping behaviour's.
However, what the basic Apple Health info shows is how much deep sleep REM etc you are getting within your sleep. Knowing and seeing that info might display more insight for her than knowing wether you snore or not lol.
Tried again - it’s scheduled and turned on manually (slept earlier than usual yesterday)I saw a post somewhere on Reddit with a similar query, and apparently this helped someone resolve this issue :
If I got an Apple Watch Ultra, am I limited as to what phone contracts I use?
My current provider doesn’t support adding an Apple Watch as a paired line as it were. So was considering getting a watch and maybe getting it as unpaired on EE or can I just register any eSIM?
Gmail has never worked for me, I’ve given up with notifications and forward everything to my iCloud address. Notifications from that are very prompt.I noticed something with my Apple Watch Series 8. Gmail emails weren’t showing on it unless I checked email six times in a row then they’d appear. Never really bothered trying to get to the bottom of it until today.
Ended up setting up an iCloud email address and that works fine, comes in handy as I needed a recovery email for Gmail anyway. I don’t suppose anyone else has had this problem?
