Imgur has blocked the UK

And routes said traffic and DNS lookups via a VPN provider which instead gets to see everything. Where do they have servers, what laws are they governed by? What do they do with your data? A lot of providers have shown time and time again that despite what they say, they do keep traffic/logs and they do give it up in other countries such as the US when required to do so by law.

Many keep logs, but due to rules being written by technicaly illererate politicians, they don't keep logs which are usable for trying to link activity to a specific user.

I never actually posted an image in imgur.. instead I just uploaded images and then referenced their URL.. that way used them as a publicly addressable bucket.

Vivaldi has teamed up with Proton and has it built in to their browser too.

That said Proton themselves offer a free tier, I would pick that over the other free options.
Was planning on switching out Opera for vivaldi, but imgur doesn't seem to work on it for me for some reason, it just tells me it's over capacity. Opera on the other hand works fine

Until the govt decides that naughty people are using VPN's for all kinds of nefarious business avoiding the Bill then they ban all VPN's. Great Firewall of China UK incoming!

Good luck with that. Ofcom is going to be too busy with 4chan for the next 30 years to enforce any new laws.

VPN use had apparently increased by 450,000% by September lol. That would be like trying to disarm the US public at this point.
