I've just ordered one actually as realised my 3S is still under retailer warranty so filed an RMA and they offered a refund. the left and right buttons are dodgy after a year, sometimes have to double press MB2 and sometimes MB1 double clicks.
So £80 being refunded and the MX4 is £119, making the total end cost of MX4 for me £39.
That will be fine.
This was with Amazon and warranty was the usual year retailer thing, although Amazon being Amazon, they tend to be fine if it goes over anyway.
You could request the software to see if your workplace will allow it perhaps? It is a Bolt device so is secure enough for business use, maybe play that card to them?
Can be had for £83.99 if you search on a popular UK deals site, it did include a free carry case but they have sold out of those.Holding out ion the faint hope that Amazon does something in the upcoming Prime Day. Unlikely for something so new but it's worth waiting to see.
Recently went down a rabbit-hole reseacrhing this. Short answer: None.Does anyone know of the real world difference in the the Mac version?
Also is the MX s Keyboard much if an upgrade over the regular MX?
The MX Keys S has new Customizable Backlighting, Smart Actions to optimize nearly every aspect of your workflow, more Sustainable materials, new color Pale Gray available, used Logi Bolt receiver compare to previous MX Keys that uses Unifying receiver and it has an Emoji-Dictation and Mute/Unmute Keys.
Ha...doesnt matter...had a discount code but Logitech dont even deliver to NI BWAHAHAHAH...losers.Recently went down a rabbit-hole reseacrhing this. Short answer: None.
The Mac version has "For Mac" branding on the underside instead of the Bluetooth and Bolt logos (although it still supports both), has slightly paler-coloured buttons (I think to match Apple colours), and does not come with a Bolt dongle.
Unless you're an UBER-fan of the different colour, the identically-priced Mac version is objectively worse for the money.
Stolen from here:
Whether any of that represents an actual upgrade is subjective.
