Car competitions anyone won?

The in-laws still have her grandfather's car - a Polonez Maluch. It's extremely uncomfortable, not really practical, and cream. It still works just fine though!
Fiat 126p is and will always be awesome. Unlike the Trabant :p

FSO Polonez was a different model. Polski Fiat was built by FSO under licence

It's just an old car to me... I could barely fit in the damn thing. It's still in pretty good shape; I have pictures.

Aware they're not the same car. Just wanted to share.

I meant the Polonez & Maluch are 2 different cars :)

Totally irrelevant in this thread, but post pics!
My parents had one back in the day; they drove across Europe in it. Can't imagine doing that

Wow where do you live a place with one person, costs me nearly £1,400 to insure my current M135i with LV :/

In fairness, when I had my Mac 650s and an M135i daily driver; the M135i cost 2.5x more than the 650S to insure... Supercars actually tend to be quite cheap to insure ime (my Evo costs 2x what the Mclaren does)

As much as it would be nice to win the Lambo, think I would rather take the tax free cash! Pay off mortgage or buying another property with rental income would be useful long term

All a pipe dream anyway

Just flip the Lambo, you'll get way more money from WBAC etc than you would taking the cash alternative.

I have entered free guitar ones for 99p or £1.99. Thought about doing those house "give aways" but never cars.

Wouldn't mind having a Lambo for a month before selling it though, just for the experience. Since I couldn't afford to run it anyway.

I do wonder though with some of these big value cars being raffled off, if they've ended up there because the owner was struggling to offload it via a 'normal' route with a dealer, buying service, privately, SOR etc.

I won a Mini Cooper S during covid, then £6k cash about a year ago. Deffo spent 4 figures in entry fees though so winning isnt cheap :)

Elite Comps buy from dealers, Possibly slow sellers or they just have a decent relationship with a dealer and buy a load or they ask a dealer to source
