Beta is out in about 45 minutes available for those who have Gamepass ultimate on PC

a lot of the Youtubers etc had already played at COD Next yesterday.


I said the futuristic style I wasnt going to play but I will give it a crack all the wall jumping probably going to do my head in after a while.
 
Got to level 9 on the Beta game runs fine for me on 3070TI.

Just a reskinned Black Ops 6 im playing on Gamepass doubt I will bother to much with the full game.
 
I played few games tonight

It’s not as good as Blops6, exposure map is just god awful so doesn’t help.

Wall run is crap when also trying to aim.

Early impressions are just meh atm need to give it few more games
 
Wall running eugh. Not really played CoD since all the cosmetic rubbish and wall running doesn't make me want to play again.
 
Wall running is a definitely no no for myself.
Completely hated it in other cods and found black ops 6 to be a refreshing change.
I won't be touching this even if it's free on game pass ultimate
BF6 here I come
 
I really dont like the wall running, feels like unreal tournament. The maps just seem so close range and everyone is on top of each other. Tried a sniper a couple of times but its point blank range opportunities only.
 
Black ops 6 was ****! and this game is the same **** with wall running..

No wonder the numbers are so low.

Anyone paying 70 quid for this garbage is silly, and with the game pass price hikes, the numbers will be even worse - as most people played off game pass.
 
I was going to pass on COD this time around, (as much as I loved BO6 I got a little obsessed with it), hate the near future stuff & wall running BUT they've brought RAID, Hijacked and Express back and they are THE BEST MAPS OF ALL TIME® so I'm sure I'll buckle and get it. At least the stupid skins are getting binned.
 
Dont know why, but i havent really enjoyed a cod game since mw3, world at war was ok but since then they have all been meh for me.
 
I've enjoyed the last 3 Cod games but only in the base multiplayer modes we're used to.

Everything else feels off to me.

I last liked Warzone 3 years ago.
 
I’m not even going to try the Beta this time around, I did not enjoy BO6.

Last played MW3 which was enjoyable for a while but that became bizarre with all the skins and weapon tracers.

I’m not the target audience of these Call of Duty’s anymore, they appeal to me less and less each release.

Roll on 10th October… :D

I really like MW3R, and play it daily on hardcore, but BO6 and this just looked utter *****. Sometimes less is more. I'd happily continue playing MW3R, but it seems to be full of hackers now :(

The only reason this would tempt me, is the TPM/Secureboot requirement, in the vague hope that it'll stop these cheating loosers, just learn to play it like everyone else?

I really don't see how you can enjoy cheating, and thinking people think you're actually good at the game?
Even if you don't spot the speed hacks etc, it's still blindly obvious when someone is using hacks!

The fact that they goto the level of making the game believe you're using a controller using that app so they can use the aim assist but with a mouse, is beyond pathetic - just imagine if they put all the effort into hacking the game and cheating, into learning to play it, like say, everyone else?

this is all you need to see to show you how black ops 7 is going to go. black ops 7 on steam right now 60000 people playing. 2.9 years ago nearly 500000 people playing.

xbox live increase of 50 percent so most wont go get it there which is where a lot go cause it was okay priced. the actual game is now £70. far too dear.

battlefield 6 drops before black ops 7 release and already has 1.7 million pre orders on steam alone. with upto 5 million sales predicted in the first week. cod is done !

there will always be cheats in all games and yes it bypasses tpm and secureboot in both games black ops 7 and bf6

How can it do that, I thought the whole point of TPM and Secureboot, was so apps couldn't sneak in like that? Forgive my ignorance, but I've not really looked into it that much :P
I was really hoping this would **** over cheaters, and then eventually when it becomes the standard, when a game worth playing online comes out, it'll last for years cheat free.
I guess that's never going to happen. It's a shame it cant be locked down like the consoles can be these days (excluding modded consoles obviously)
