Borderlands 4 (2025)

edit: i think that was the best gun in borderlands 3 and went through hell to get it in that game and in this game post story after some stupid boss it pops out a chest on my way out from the boss place :D

scared to see what other guns are in this game if that one dropped so easy:D

How have people approached starting a second character?

I completed my main last week, i finished a few bits and bobs of and finally hit level 50 with Amon. I have killed this from launched having never played the series before it got me hooked badly its been great fun.

Decided once i hit 50 i would start a new character which i started as Rafa but if im honest i was very underwhelmed not much direction on where or what to do?

Do you do the full story all over again or is that complete? i noticed the map is empty and all the collectibles have to be rediscovered.

I hit my first pack of wild horn and got absolutely spanked felt i was up against level 50 on ultra difficulty with level 30 guns and skill set?

The plasma coil was relatively easy to get in BL3 by using the LAV Revolter shield glitch in Arms Race :)

My current fave "returning BL3" weapon is the Complex Root sniper - it just shreds.

Doesn't really matter the game can be completed with either of them

Rafa is the most popular character though, but that's nothing to do with him being strong or anything

Not sure about favourite as I've not tried the others yet, but I'm currently playing Amon and recently hit Lv50. I started the campaign and was exploring a reasonable amount of the maps and doing the side quests, by the second area I was largely focusing on the story and once I cleared that I started leveling mainly with the Vile bounties, now I'm running an Ordnance build that can shred most content on UVH1 and am going back to the other zones looking for other content. There's a lot of side content including arena like contents that reward loot, so still a lot to discover in the game I feel.

I will start thinking about an alt in the near future, I think with the alt I'll be a lot more focused on clearing each zone before moving on.
