Tyre Pressure Inflator

I've not tried beyond 40 PSI with the X9 Pro but other reviewers say it can do van/truck tyres up to approx. 65 PSI fine, though I found it was starting to slow down a bit beyond 35 PSI compared to my more powerful one (which sadly isn't available any more).

Ended up getting a ring rtc450 for £25 delivered.

Wife ordered it at 4pm and it's just come with Amazon :D

I'll plug it in in the morning and post back.

It's said 100psi but I'm doubtful of that. Would need a proper machine for that I would think?

Just got the ring rtc450 was same day delivery with Amazon.

Got my van tyre from 14 to 45 psi in about 6 mins.

2 gripes, wire could be a bit longer and no quick release valve. Think they can be bought cheap enough tho.

Other than that, it did it's job and was £25

and no quick release valve

I have mixed feelings about those - one good thing about the Fanttick actually though it is threaded it has an actual engineered threaded connector which goes on and off much easier than others I've tried and doesn't leak air unless you are really slow with it.

One downside with the Fanttick I'd forgotten though is that it continues for a little once the display has hit the set target PSI, unlike my other ones which instantly off when the display shows the target PSI, and actually inflates smaller tyres an extra PSI beyond what is set before it stops - which I need to remember as sometimes you don't want that extra PSI.

I had the same issue as the original post last week, and this thread just turned up, that ring RTC one looks perfect for what i need, and it only being £25 is also a bonus

Would anyone recommend any of these combined Tyre Pressure inflators/Jump Start packs?

I'm not averse to buying one of each but the two items in one package makes sense to me.

Yes, I have this one for that exact reason:
Utrai JS-9

I've used it to start a few cars now & it's worked fine with no hints of struggling in the cold weather. Inflator also works well.

Not sure I could completely endorse it as (like all these cheap jump packs) the specs are all complete BS, & who knows how long the cheap lithium pack inside will actually last, but so far so good.

Any recommendations for one that will do 45-50 psi? Or will most do it but take a life time?

£60 seems a lot but it's neat, tidy, and is pretty fast. It'll do up to 80 psi has a set point on the pressure, a deflation button and screws in rather than push fit. It can draw up to 15A (180W) through the 12V socket so I normally run the engine when I'm using it, and I have 12V in the back and front so check the length of the cable for you.

Note they also do a 230V mains powered version so careful if you order.

It replaces an old michellin where after 15-20 years the plastic cracked around the screws after giving it a little service.

It's small enough to fit in my wheel well along side the C7 battery charger. Happy with it so far.

I got the Ring RTC2000, works great for topups but wouldn’t want to inflate a tyre from flat with it.

Ring stuff is really good. I've had a few of their products over the years and it's noticeably better than the usual Amazon tat.

Had the same issue with the Wifes porsche. Turns out their is a cigarette socket under a plastic matt in the center console. The matt was clipped in so needed a good tug
