Said at the time we should have gone for Ait Nouri and I stand by that. He could have drifted into midfield from the left as Trent used to from the right, and Bradley could play the Robertson role. As it is we're trying to play with two flying full backs and no proper defensive mid and it doesn't work

I think the lack of an outball is more of a problem. Trent was ridiculously good at it and it shows watching this.

Kerkez is also really thick.

The thing which is getting me, which I mentioned in the last game, is how much slower we are doing everything compared to the Klopp days. I assume thats a Slot thing, that he wants us to play in a more considered, build up way, rather than a hell for leather way.

He's created our best chance of the match. So if you're judging on moments, he's currently our best player.

Even ignoring that, he's been no worse than anyone else on the pitch, and has offered as much as any of our other front five players. You just seen bizarrely blinded in relation to him.

Yes, but I was responding to your comment about Gakpo offering nothing, when he'd been integral to our best chance of the match moments earlier.

Honestly if you’ve watched all our games this season this is comfortably better than most.

They’ve not been a threat really outside of the low likelihood goal

Definitely still suck though compared to last season

Isak has to do better there. You pay that much for a striker who's not great outside the box. He's basically in the team to do that.

Needed booked for his reaction, had a tantrum.

Able to progress the ball relatively easy but don't know what to do when it gets to that stage. Goal aside it's been a fairly low standard game so far.
