The original soundtrack played by breath of the sea via guitar is the best thing I think I’ve ever heard. Incredible work. If you don’t remember this game fair play okay it’s from a long time ago when shmups were the mainstay.

I didn't play this but the general vibe and especially the actual guitar cover reminds me very much of (and probably inspired) Air Combat's (PS1) soundtrack. Very nice.

Yes ! Air combat soundtrack is amazing. I remember picking up the platinum air combat from the platinum “bin” as a lad and playing through it thinking wow. This is the future. Like a seagull is incredible.

Played all the AC’s. All of them fantastic.

Yeah, went to Curry's with my folks and they bought it for my birthday on release day. Pretty sure it was about £50 too lol, silicon was expensive back in the day, and lets not start with NeoGeo games.

Cracking soundtrack but personally Axelay, Thunderforce IV, Musha Aleste top it. Infact there's soooo many good soundtracks back then.
