What TV shows are you currently watching

Rewatching Stargate SG-1 for the millionth time.

There is just no decent Sci-Fi on at the moment that scratches my itch (Foundation being the exception)

Star Trek SNW this season was too silly and I’ve not finished it and there is little else!

There is a distinct lack of shows which do like Stargate Universe and Atlantis decently, Stargate Universe was really close to a masterpiece but a bit of a swing and a miss.

What are people's thoughts on Prison Break and Sons of Anarchy?

Are they as good as 24 and The Wire?

I'm already planning on buying Mad Men as I've heard realky good things about it.
The Wire was conceived as a complete project. Each season's structure was in place before filming of S1, which is still very rare in modern TV shows. Prison Break and SOA have decent 1st seasons, then fade fast as they mostly have no idea where to go after that.

I’d definitely give Prison Break’s first series a go. If you enjoyed 24, you’ll find it quite addictive. But the second series onward, it completely falls off a cliff, so just treat it as a one and done!
Good idea, thank you. I will look out for them both in a charity shop as I paid £12 for all of 24!

It's just I was on the hunt for something just as long as 24 as it took me a fair wee while to get through them and it was a great distraction too!

I'm so tempted to watch it all again as I miss him!

Re-watching Fringe whilst I move house, had a real binge whilst I was packing and organising and got nearly three seasons down, forgot how good it was. John Noble steals every single scene.

Brass Eye (not for the first time).

I haven't laughed this much in quite a while.
There's very little, if anything, out there quite like it. :D :D :D

I've found some drama's on ITV to watch which will hopefully keep me occupied for a bit.

Nearly through Unspeakable which is about the blood scandal in Canada.
It's almost unbelievable how appallingly the government and other companies behaved.
And it's always about money

Any decent recommendations? I love a good ITV drama and need a new series to watch.
I watch a lot of real life crime so found myself searching for those types of real life crime dramas.

Under the bridge is about teenage girls in america (might be canada) who murder another teenage girl.
Unforgiveable is about the haemophiliac blood scandal in Canada.

Best thing to do is just click on the bit with a brief description and give them a go. :)

I can pm you a list of them all as there have been a lot I've watched.

The same adverts repeating every 20min spoilt Foyles War for us to some extent. However they were much less frequent when watching Vera. Not sure what’s going on with ITVX other than a way of pushing their subscription model?

Just finished Daredevil Born Again, it was ok. Took it's sweet time to get going.

Currently four episodes into Monsters: The Ed Gein Story and really enjoying it.

I think it must be plus the thing with a black screen instead of the adds, but sometimes it gets stuck.
