The US is effectively already open, most the bump will be US investors surely in pre market. It just popped again, best day in my ISA for some time, up over 1K in a day.

wow AMD popped off im up 100%

only had 3 shares so +240quid

I bought AMD NVDA and INTC at the same time

AMD 100%
NVDA 55%
INTC 71%

who says you don;t buy competitor stocks again

Crazy isn't it. Pretty annoying when you sell something "at the top" and it keeps going up and up. Dread to work out how much I've lost selling early.

If (when) this does crash it could be like a crypto esque crash. Huge with lots of tears.

Or is that not even a thing anymore and the stock market rules of old no longer apply? It's all just fomo, hype and memes?

After all crypto is fuelled on fomo and the ponzi scheme effect. Has the stock market now becomes the same?

Historically the stock market tends to do ok on gov shutdown for some reason. Maybe because they can'r produce labor stats to show how few jobs are being created !

I'm waiting for SMCI to pop.
Its massively repressed at the moment. But it's a bit sketchy. Surely as they are involved in hardware they are due a meme?
