OUR LOWEST PRICE EVER ON 9070 XT (BETTER THAN PRIME) - £555

Oh I also picked up a 5070TI off the MM too for a decent price from a decent chap here called WARburton. Because why not? :p

I’m sure one of the guys on here open a box from the rainforest which was sealed and had a bag of rice.

Think it was spaghetti and a few cans of tuna or something. Similar thing happened me years previous my asus strix 980ti from amazon turned out to be an older geforce 285 or something like that,. Was refunded with no issues.

Ever since then, amazon given a wide berth for pc parts. Selling returned stuff as new is comical.

Aye true enough. But the £1400 quid I got for it was nice enough to pay for the 5070TI and 9070XT so not bad for a 3 year old card profit wise. :p

So my 7800X3D PC is happy and my 5800X3D PC is happy, I'm happy. :)

Good on you, going from "only" being able to afford a 7800 XT to getting a 4090, that's a turnaround!

The Nitros are indeed excellent cards, the 6800XT that's now in my second PC was the best card I've yet owned.

@humbug time for a cheeky upgrade?

Everyone around me is upgrading, another gaming mate of mine just upgraded his RTX 4070 for an RX 9070 XT, Asus Prime OC specifically, i'm feeling left out and will be upgrading but have to wait until next year now.....

On a side note i'm a part of some pretty large gaming communities and have been for a lot of years, there has been a lot of switching from Nvidia to AMD over this last year, one by one they switch and then voice how impressed they are with the GPU, then another one does it and says the same thing, and then another one.... the mood, the attitude to AMD's GPU's is changing, i have never seen anything like it.

What happened to Amazon ending their deal at midnight and OcUK ending their deal at 2pm yesterday?

I mean I'm not complaining about OcUK not ending their deal :p

Might have got a bit of support from AMD/Sapphire to continue the deal for a bit longer, especially with Amazon trying to muscle in.

You have to hope that AMD/Sapphire are supporting the OCUK price reduction too, otherwise the message is "we are able to sell them for less, we just choose not to"

Pretty sure the message has always been and will always be "we are able to sell for less, we just choose not to". None of these companies are charities.

Rebates from AMD and Sapphire. That’s how hardware sales work ;)
