I think it needs eye tracking so unfortunately no. I think this what Valve's forthcoming headset will have (eye tracking & DFE).

I'll have to try Steam Link again. On Quest Pro I found the quality was pretty poor, and it was jittery, even with eye tracked foveated encoding.

I can run most games on Virtual Desktop Godlike resolution and the look super sharp and crisp anyway.

But I guess for the higher resolution headsets the foveated encoding might work better.

Pretty sure I seen someone with a Pro ask on the PFD discord if it would work for the Pro, the answer was 'not at the moment' for reasons I can't remember right now.
