So the newly announced P2S is being revealed on the 14th October. The new screen has already been teased but what are people hoping for out of a refreshed P series?

I keep hoping for a dual nozzle like a P2D etc.

Hopefully the new P series will use nozzles like the A series?

I think it will just be like the P1S but with a coloured touch screen along with the A1 nozzle and maybe chamber heating. I just hope it's more reliable than the P1S because I am thinking of switching my P1S to a P2S depending on the difference or just getting another Core One instead.

@Tackle_Berry I think the A1 nozzle will be a big step forward. Not bothered about the screen myself but at this point they need to do something to combat the Elegoo Centauri Carbon possibly. Tech and prices are marching on now and others catching up. I do fancy swapping out my oldest A1. Whats the Core One like?

It's been really good, doesn't print drastically better than the P1S or anything buy I do notice some improvements with PETG overhangs and just marginal stuff, it's also a fait bit quieter. There was some controversy about VFA's at the start which I never actually had issues with and the VFA's on my P1S have always been terrible (gantry not square) but Prusa have recently fixed these anyway with a recent update. The main thing for me is just no downtime so far. I am also looking forward to seeing Bondtech IDNX release for it.

I'll have to start doing some research. I like everything being in the Bambu family for ease of use but similarly I'm open to alternatives

That price point is lethal. This thing is a blend of the X1C and P1S but the small touches like the metal alignment guides on for the build plate or the nice quick interchange hot end is great. The P1S is still an absolute proven beast mind you.

I was expecting the P1S price to come down to clear the stock and then EOL it, but with a AMS2 it’s more expensive!

With the voucher a P1S (without AMS)is £340 delivered. I have an old A1 (got 4) but my oldest I could sell for say £100. Worth upgrading an old A1 to a P1S for essentially £200-240 ish just to try a core xy?

If this is going to be inline with the rest of the refreshes they're maybe going to do, the X2 Carbon should be pretty sweet.

Does anyone know if the AMS from a P1S will work on the P2S? I got confused by this filament buffer malarkey

I’m thinking of using my P1S to replace my A1, and getting the P2S without an AMS and using the AMS from my P1S with it… if that makes sense!

With the way Bambu are pushing the H-series of printers, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see an X2 tbh :( Can easily see the H as the flagship/large print volume option at various price points and capabilities (dual, single, vortek) and leave the P2S as the cheaper/small print volume option of Core XY devices while the A-series continues as the cartesian. It would be a shame as I really like my X1C as a well rounded capable device

Shame, as the X1 was the top of the tree not that long ago, I was looking at one before I decided that the P1S with AMS was the way to go, then bought the S1 due to the better AMS (At the time) and Klipper...
