Tron: Ares Box Office Shocker - Disney Sequel Debuting Below Legacy
Its original projections were much higher.

Nope, read some reviews and they put me right offHave you seen the movie?
Its a Honda Civic, 4 cylinder, 2 litre, 138 horsepower....classicfelt more like fast and the furious meets Tron,
Disney are always ****Disney back to being **** again I take it? Just picked the first two up on 4k also and rewatched them!!
Seems a bit of a difference between critics reviews and people going to watch it. I was really looking forward to it and loved the previous ones so will probably give this one a chance. I usually trust Kermode, but I'm hoping I find him wrong about this one.
I never look at critics reviews.
Critics love fancy stuff. They love Oscar winning films and I rarely do.
Ordinary people who go to watch this? They are probably going for the same reason I do. They want to like it. They like this genre etc.
Critics? No. Many critics seem to give a foreign film a higher rating just because it's foreign! They are probably well educated, posh and look for some deep meaning or art or whatever. Basically they are so different to me their opinion is irrelevant.
Well its seems not that many people wanted to see it at all looking at the numbers.I never look at critics reviews.

I'd add a laughing smiley but I'm not sure it's actually false.Copied off Reddit -
Disney execs: "TRON: Legacy has become this big underground hit in the years since it was made. Let's make another one, but without any of the same cast or characters and without picking up any of the storylines that fans wanted to see followed."
