The Radeon RX9070XT / RX9070 Owners Thread

Kinda wish I had bought the 9060 XT Nitro 16gb when it was 330. Now that was a good deal. Sitting here with an unboxed B580 which was £230. Patience is hard

I think the difference at load between -70mV and stock for me was 270w vs 300w if I recall.

At the moment, I’d rather take the stability, game trouble free and put up with the additional power draw than start tinkering and testing.

Just done 3 hours on the BF6 multiplayer and zero issues after applying default profile, so looks like the issue was due to an unstable undervolt.

Had problems with cyber punk with -70 so dropped down to -50. Don’t forget you can put a negative offset with power target. Using -10 in borderlands 4 to keep mine below 300 watts.

-50 might be stable for me but that would take gaming load wattage from 300w to around 270w.

I’m enjoying the game too much at the moment and rather not test it again and potentially have another crash mid game.

Besides, it’s getting colder outside so the additional 30w of heat is welcome in my little box room. :D

as much as this is sort of a joke the last few days ive been routinly using furmark and my 9070xt to warm the room up first thing in the morening lol
not sure its working though my system doesnt really generate much heat lol

I know I mentioned this earlier but have had a good few hours with my new Nitro+, and despite being really happy with my old card I can't believe how borked the cooling must have been on it. I am running BF6 with a 144hz FPS limit on ultra and the cards hot spot never goes above 60 degrees, GPU is 50 degrees, memory never above 60 and half the time the fan is turning off, with around 80% utilisation and wattage hovering between 125 and 160. Super impressed.

I have never owned a card this fast that I can limit FPS at 144 and ultra and it only hit 80% utilisation.
been running my hellhound at 165hz , 1440 card never goes over 60

experimenting with FSR last night and decided I prefer to play it with fsr quality over native even if I don't need the extra frames

I've just pre ordered the xfx mercury gaming oc card, do any of you know when it'll be back in stock?

I'm guessing I'll need a gpu stand for this card, any suggestions?

Horizon Forbidden West shows FSR4 enabled in the driver, but only FSR3 available in game menu. Anyone playing this game?
I don't have that game but that sounds like it's working
AMD recent driver update enables FSR4 to be injected into games that are running the latest version of FSR3 provided you have an FSR4 compatible card.
