Just picked up a 5080 FE to replace my 3090 FE, surprised how much smaller it is. I haven't done much testing yet but looks like it's around 30-40% faster on average. I will probably look at the 5080 Super if it releases with more vram, and if it's available.

Oooohhh. I don't normally like the Noctua brown scheme, but this kind of works for me. 70's vibe! You could do a superb wooden case panels build with this style...

Der8auer did a video on this, he even replaced the fans with cheap Arctic's, then Corsair ARGB's - the Arctic's achieved the same temps as the Noctua's with only a 2DB difference. So as usual, Noctua are just ripping people off.
You may as well buy or 3D print your own shroud/mod a stock one, and fit some Arctic's.

I currently have a trusty 6800XT Nitro+ but the demon itch to upgrade is always in the background if I can get a good price for my card I may be joining the club soon enough

New 5080 owner here ! Moved from a 3080FE 10gb. I run a 3k monitor and it's good upgrade so far.

The PNY card is huge, only just fits in to a Corsair 4000D with the rad in the front. Very cool card, my last card topped out at around 73c and the 5080 is 63c.
