I've never had a bad experience with any BMW dealerships as far as warranty and servicing is concerned. Or even arranging a test drive, but the cars obviously have to be available.Yeah, I will try another dealer although that’s 2 out of the three local ones that have been a poor experience. In the past 15 years I must have bought three BMW’S from one of them and two the other!
The ID3 is fine at 70. You're not getting the same zip you were getting at 10 or 30 but it still pulls just fine. At 50 it's comfortable to overtake on country roads. It depends what you want to compare it to: the performance you're getting at low speeds feel like a hot hatch, the performance you're getting at 70 feels like a decently sprightly family car. Which, to be fair, is what the ID3 is, it's a family car not a sports car wannabe.
I think unless you've actually driven an EV reading reviews will only get you so far as generally they'll be comparing to other EVs which as said are a totally different feel to a comparable on paper ICE car.
naughty? surely that would be illegal?I've never had a bad experience with any BMW dealerships as far as warranty and servicing is concerned. Or even arranging a test drive, but the cars obviously have to be available.
Audi once let me out in a customers car, very naughty.

This is where the VZ is a lot stronger than the base line motor. It keeps going and is surprising how quick you can be goingThe ID3 is fine at 70. depending on wether it came with 3G or 4g, that lifetime could be coming to an end very soon.my wifes car (bmw i3) from what i can tell has life time connectivity included.
I dont mind the security tracking or the sat nav map updates.I think I mentioned 10 years on a Tesla, it’s actually 8.
Even still, 2-3 years is utterly dire given how fundamental some of these connected features are to the user experience and how little data they actually use.
perhaps.. but i do not blame BMW to much for that, that would literally be the hardware being no longer supported and is out of bmws hands.depending on wether it came with 3G or 4g, that lifetime could be coming to an end very soon.

the car is 2018 so its had a good few years of support. its a good point however and one i never considered. dunno if it can be updated - it would be nice to think its just a simcard which is replaceable but i bet its not that simple!.
edit i quick google shows its a pita to actually check 3G vs 4G
but as ours is a 2nd gen "facelift" from 2018 it appears we will be ok.

How to Check if an i3 uses 3G or 4G communication
As the 3G network has been ( or being ) phased out, the older ( pre2017) i3' s and many other cars using the same technology are facing frustrating issues ... Apart from 'guessing' if an i3 uses 3G or 4G telematics control unit (TCU) Is there anyway we can check in the iDrive, or Online to...www.mybmwi3.com
Don't know how it would be illegal, I can't think of a law that covers it.naughty? surely that would be illegal?
Twoc. The owner didn't consent to it being used for test drives when they gave it to the garageDon't know how it would be illegal, I can't think of a law that covers it.
