Woo-hoo, the clocks go back to GMT next weekend!

Boo. I much prefer the long light evenings. Still, Halloween is fun and Christmas is looming.

Halloween marks the time the last nice yearly event is marked until the following year. Looking forward to spring now.. Or a cold dry winter (lol). Christmas? For personal reasons I hate Xmas.

Fireworks terrorising the dog, grim November (November is never nice) and Christmas. Always hope for a dry crisp January. But it usually isn't. The only real bad point of living in the west of the UK.

Oh and it puts a pin in my weekday camping. No way I can get out during the week after work now. So limited to Friday and Saturday. And the number of good weather days 2 out of 7 days in late autumn? Few!

Clocks suck!

I've heard a good one is a Brussel sprout dressed up as a Ferrero rocher!
So dip. It in chocolate and hope your house doesn't get egged.

We will be dressing up for a special DnD session as our characters!

Stamppot season!

But I'd rather stick to summer time; prefer that extra evening hour and just endure waking up in the dark.

if its any consolation back when i was younger i had this ridiculous habit of the night before going out for a couple of Halloween drinks,
getting home remembering to change the time on my watch and clock only to find out the next morning when i turned up at work 2 hours early that id put the clock the wrong direction
happened 2 years in a row so i booked the next years morning off
then proceeded to forget id booked the day off but somehow got the clock right
so i managed on the third year to turn up on the correct time
but having forgotten its my day off LOL!
