They’re currently offering a cracking price on a set of CrossClimate 3 Sports, but my current summers still have life in them. Would be nice to have all seasons for winter though.

It seems quite often, as they had that same discount when I needed new rears back in August.

My summers have about ~4.2mm left on them. It’s such a pain having to store tyres without rims vertically, so I’m debating if I really want to endure that for years until I sell the car.

I will replace these because they're ~2mm, but I can't believe they're already cracking at only 2 years old! Total scam.

I really hate Mercedes factory tracking. The inside edge on all my front tyres wear so quickly. The fronts on my C63 have done probably ~7k miles and are completely shredded inside. I then have to go through the whole "oh you've been taking roundabouts too fast" ****** from the tyre shop when in truth I drive like a granny most of the time these days! I have always used PS4S but am going to switch to something else because I think these tyres plus Mercedes settings are destined to shorten the lifespan.
 
That time of year again. New set of Michelin X-Ice North 4's on the rear. Still have a couple winters left on the front. Now to lube up my door seals and I'm ready for winter
 
Anyone willing to give me a sense check before i probably spend too much on two new tyres?

I'm needing 2 new rear tyres on a Fiesta Active, I'm looking at a pair of Pilot Sports or Crossclimate 3 from either Costco or BlackCircles respectively. Am I completely mad or should i be looking at something cheaper? if so any recommendations? I do around 200 miles commuting a week over a roads that are not the best in places during winter.

CC3 Sport or regular? can't really go wrong with the Goodyear Vector if you want to spend less money on an all season, but if you want something a bit closer to a performance tyre the only choice is the CC3 Sport really.

Not sure what your existing fronts are but I wouldn't mix all-season and regular summer tyres on the same vehicle though even on different axels - the response in different wet and cold temperature conditions will be different and can destabilise the car.

The are the Sports. Sadly i can't seem to find any Goodyear Vectors in the right size. it seem the Fiesta Actives has slightly odd size tyres which limits my choice a bit.

The ones on the front are are cheapish set of radar tyres that i had little other choice to fit due to circumstance. They are less than a year old so I'd prefer not to replace them, even if they are rubbish.

Personally wouldn't be putting Pilot sport or the like at the other end then - will be massively different grip levels.

Sounds like you are money conscious if not replacing them, so better to just get some mid range tyres for the rear, Kumho, Hankook, Toyo etc, or if you absolutely must get Michelin then look at Primacy rather than PS

Whats the goto decent tryes (80-100) each for the family waggon.

Are the tyres 225/50/17? That's a not so common size so there's less choice and higher prices. How common a tyre size is can effect the price more than size sometimes.

Black Circles do Kumhos for £99.99. Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 for £114.99 with code. All seasons Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen 3 for £120.10 with code .SAVE15.
Tyreshopper (Halfords) do Avon ZV7 for 98.99 but the Kumhos may be better?
