EDIT: Please ignore. I've decided to get the Arctic that I wanted originally! Thanks for the help everyone!

Yeah it's as you said
Way too many different models
Makes it confusing and a PITA to decide
Which to get

I would even consider looking at
Their air cooler instead
As its much easier to choose and to find
Reviews of
Assuming it fits in the pc case of course
The royal pretor Isn't all that far behind an aio
In performance
And doesn't have a pump which is always
A point of failure eventually

It's not 60dba
I would just get the cheapest whichever fits your requirement (RGB/screen etc) tbh.
The only one I wouldn't get is the frozen notte which has an external pump mounted in line with the tubing - old design

Yep, it's an absolute mindfield!
I've currently got a Peerless Assassin. So I was hoping to gain some silence :P

I can't remember which model/variant it was, as I've watched so many videos now  but I'm 90% sure that it was 'Robeytech' that made the DBA claim under full load. I did think that cannot be right!

The Aqua Elite seems to be garbage in both performance and noise, and UK wise from the small selection available in this price point - as otherwise I may as well pay extra and get the Arctic.
So that only leaves the Frozen Warframe SE and the Frozen Notte? The Notte is a mixed bag, and you say to avoid the old pump design. So it's Frozen Warframe SE or nothing then :P

It's annoying that despite 92 models/variants, there isn't a Frozen Warframe SE without ARGB or a screen, which means I'm paying for tat that I don't want. I definitely wont be risking installing random dodgy software for the display, and the ARGB won't even get plugged in.

Which one do you have?

Frozen prism and aqua elite V3

It isn't and is talking out of his arse. DBA is a logarithmic scale
Difference in 30 to 60 DBA is 1000x!

How come you've got that Aqua Elite V3? It's supposed to be really loud and not very efficient and gets beaten by their air coolers?

Yeah, as I say, I remember that 'Tornado' or whatever it was called, back in the early 2000's and it was 55DBA and that was ridiculous, it made the floor vibrate and we had to shout to hear each other  My mate only bought it for a laugh mind :P

Cheapest 120mm I could find to cool my 7700
It's actually pretty decent and slightly better in cooling capacity than an assassin king 120

Ah fair do's. It seems like the Warframe is going to be the only option then if the Notte has the in-line pump you say to avoid - it's more expensive that the Warframe even whilst on sale, despite it's lack of screen? But both have a 5 year warranty.
I'm guessing there isn't anyone else brand wise that can even compete as this price point, given that Thermalright cuts out the middle man.
Would you say that the Warframe "is better" than the Arctic pound per pound? As there is a £25 difference. I like the fact with the Thermalright I'll have more of a choice when it comes to my next case, and that also means getting a smaller case versus a deeper and taller one.

Personally I think their cooling is similar enough that I would go for the cheaper one
As in go for the Aqua Elite V3 over the Frozen Warframe SE? Or did you mean, go for Thermalright over the price difference versus the Arctic?
It's looking like it's going to have to be the Warframe, as I definitely would rather have the 5 year warranty.

Warframe if it's significantly cheaper than the arctic
Yup, £25 difference, and will fit any case easily, versus having to hand pick and go all detective on which cases will fit the Arctic.

Warframe with the ARGB not plugged in nor the display, it is then :D
That's going to annoy so many people, and that rather amuses me :P
TBF it's sat next to a TV downstairs in the lounge and only used for gaming, so the last thing I want is a disco going on distracting me, and if I want to know the temps, I use Rivatuner.

EDIT: @tamzzy What pump speed shall I run it at? Like 70% then 100% for 60-70C upwards? Is it even worth me bothering to run a rear exhaust now then? Or shall I just stick to 2 or 3 140MM front intakes and the 2 120MM's below my GPU?

@Tetras @tamzzy @mark 11:11 @Gray2233 @Nabinium :cry: I just randomly found this, you'll know why I find this amusing :P

They may cover refund/replacement of the AIO, but they explicitly state that they won't cover any other losses resulting from failure of the product.

(Note that they copied their warranty statement from Corsair's page and failed to replace one instance of "Corsair." lol)

THERMALRIGHT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA (WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT) OR COMMERCIAL LOSS FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON YOUR PRODUCT EVEN IF CORSAIR HAS BEEN ADVISED PREVIOUSLY OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Some local laws do not allow the exclusion or limitation of special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply in your jurisdiction

Got a plot twist for you and @Mcnumpty2323 @Gray2233 @Tetras
I am going to get the Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 - I figure **** it. I wanted it that bad, it is the best/quietest, why settle for less? £25 extra for something I know will work, be overkill, run very quiet and offer future proofing headroom on AM5...
I'd be silly not too; like I always say, "you'll kick yourself next month that you didn't save a bit longer!" so I'm going to listen to my own advice.

I had a wierd feeling that if I got that Thermalright Warframe, it is going to be not as good as I'd want for a first time 'blow your away' experience into watercooling, and I'd bet the fans will annoy me under load, as my Peerless Assassin is far from what I'd class as quiet, and it'll share those fans - then I'd have to change them, and before you know it i've spent the same money as the Arctic!

This way I know this will be a really special first time experience with AIO's and it'll be the best you can get pretty much, and that'll be awesome :D
It also fits the case and my motherboard, so I've no excuse at this point :P

Regardless, thanks for everyone's help!

Yeah the case I'm using apparently supports it, I saw someone use it in a video, and it was the case+AIO combo that I wanted originally anyway :)
I'm rather excited now haha!
If you're top mounting it shouldn't be a problem
Front mounting it can be an issue sometimes
If you have a long gpu
Put one in my stepsons build in the front
Only to find the gpu was blocked by the middle fan
Of the artic
Had to pick up a slim 15mm artic fan which meant
The gpu fitted but it was a very tight fit

Yeah sometimes you just have to go with
What you want
And to be fair the artic isn't ridiculously priced
Compared to some of the corsairs etc

Luckily it's going in the roof mate :)
Nope, it's an amazing price considering what it beats at nearly double the price!
Haha, don't mention @Corsair around me :P it's a swear word now after my PSU RMA debacle  :D
