Thanks everyone for taking the time to give your advice.

Tbh there's always something new on the horizon so I'd rather get the card now than wait up to 6 months. I tried looking for the FE edition but I believe they're sold out very quickly and I always miss my opportunity.

This is the card I've decided to go for https://www.overclockers.co.uk/pny-...-pci-express-graphics-card-gra-pny-05157.html
Has anyone got any experience of these cards and is the brand quite reliable? I've also noticed the OC version is cheaper than the normal version on some sites, does anyone know the reason for this?

PNY has been around since time began from a tech perspective, they predate consumer PC technology. I'm pretty sure I had a PNY Geforce Ti4400 many moons ago, I'd have no concerns with picking up another card from them either. I know a couple of people with 5070ti and 5080 series cards from them and they've been pretty happy.

That said, I'd lean toward Zotac if buying an Nvidia card now purely for the 5 year UK based warranty, standard is 3 but you get an extra 2 if you register the card within 30 days, most companies only offer 2-3 years by comparison.

So I can get the PNY OC version of the card for £919 which is a bit cheaper than the Zotac card hence the reason behind my choice.

As of this morning I took the plunge and ordered the PNY card, I tried to get it from Overclockers but they were almost £100 more expensive from a competitor and they wouldn't price match as they said their card was already discounted.

Fingers crossed I have zero issues, but I'm very confident it'll make me a better human being than all my friends that don't have 5 series cards. Because that's how morals work.

Undervolt it to get the most out of the card, better thermals and performance.

Let us know how you get on with it.
