As per title folks.
I've tried to enable it in the bios (B650 Tomahawk) couldn't find it.
Has it been discontinued or Renamed?
Thanks.

Long gone I think. I can't remember seeing it on the wifes AM4 pc and it's definately not on my AM5 pc. I just enabled the motherboards silent profile on both builds.

This is by AMD rep.
As you may know, "AMD Cool'n'quiet" is a feature that used to exist for AMD FX processors. At the time, it was to control whether or not the processor engaged power management faculties (e.g. downclocking under low load).

As you've probably seen: CnQ is not a technology/feature/setting for AMD Ryzen processors. However, some motherboard UEFIs may choose to retain that menu option and plumb it to a proprietary toggle of vendor's choosing. To be clear: what CnQ "does" on a given motherboard will vary, because the vendor decides what it's supposed to do (as with many other proprietary BIOS options and menu entries).

The authoritative answer is this: Global C-States and CPPC should remain ENABLED for best performance. These are options in the AMD CBS setting on any motherboard. Many motherboards say "CnQ" when they mean "Global C-States," so this should always be ON/ENABLED out of an abundance of caution. Some say "CnQ" when they mean "Precision Boost On/Off".
