My mrs applied EVERY year for the last 15years. Last year she finally got tickets for the woman's final.I got lucky and was successful in the public ballot for Wimbledon next year. First time I've ever applied, so pretty chuffed!
4th round singles, it says 3 games on the email.

You create an account then enter the ballot, I can't remember specifics about numbers but I applied for 2 tickets. Then if you're lucky, you get an email with an offer. There's no negotiation, you can't choose the seats, the game etc. So I guess you could be really unlucky and get something like court 17 day 1.How does it work? You applied (let's say you want 2 tickets), and then its randomly allocated which game you get to see?
Or can you apply specfically for the Mens or Women's final ?
Exactly that. Unless you rob a bank and pay for hospitality I guess.Oh, so you just apply to GO, and you get what you get. You can’t even pick week 1 or week 2?

id like to point out that i didnt go, so chrisD has very much trumped meI was tickled by "Mr Chris" but I was even more tickled when ChrisC came and trumped ChrisD![]()

Well done, I lived 10 minute walk from there for about 8 years and never nce managed to get the tickets in the ballot! I just spent my time in the village, great atmosphere at that time!I got lucky and was successful in the public ballot for Wimbledon next year. First time I've ever applied, so pretty chuffed!
