This looks like the same middle of the road trash that most of the Predator movies are tbh. The original gets zeitgeist points and Prey bucked the trend....but overall...meh.
I take it you won't be going to see it then?

This is the craziest adaptation of Banjo-Kazooie I could have ever anticipated.
Glad I didn't watchFirst 15 mins have been shown at comic con and there’s spoilers everywhere.
It sounds ******* awesome!!!!
It also kinda explains the size and difference in the predator looks.

That's American ratings, so with a parent anyone can go in otherwise it's 13 years.A Predator film that is PG13...okayyyy
Also remember what is acceptable for a specific age rating changes over time, hence why we've got a load of older action films that were once 18 with cuts and are now 15 uncut.Apart from AvP1 all the other Predator films have been R rated in America. So it's still sort of significant. That's American ratings, so with a parent anyone can go in otherwise it's 13 years.
Remember American ratings tend to go softer on violence and harder on sex/nudity than the UK system.
IIRC at the moment they have no equivalent to the UK 15 rating so it's either PG13 or R (17 or if accompanied by a parent under 17's can go), and at one point they had nothing between a PG and R/17 rating so there were some real oddities*.
It's worth noting that by comparison, all the Predator films are currently rated at 15 in the UK at the moment, including the originals.
Always remember different countries rate things differently and have different age ranges for their ratings when you look at a ratingAlso remember what is acceptable for a specific age rating changes over time, hence why we've got a load of older action films that were once 18 with cuts and are now 15 uncut.
*The era of PG nudity, as there was basically no mid point so you got films with non sexual nudity getting a PG rating as otherwise it was a 17 rating.
Seems a bit weird it still doesn't have a classification even though tickets are on sale!
I think I may skip this in the cinema. Even from the trailers I can tell there will be many subtitles in the movie, and i'm not certain it will all be translated into English in Spanish showings with English Audio! I would probably understand the subs, but it will ruin the immersion.
Edit: Another oppurtunity to use my cinema pass thwarted! 1 month left on the annual sub and only 8 cinema visits. Epic fail/waste of money!

It's the lack of UK and Europe certification that seems weird. It's only 2 weeks from release!Likely PG 13 in US

‘Predator: Badlands’ Is Now Officially Rated PG-13 for “Strong Sci-fi Violence”
There’s been a lot of talk in the horror community recently about Predator: Badlands being rated PG-13, but the film hadn’t actually been rated by the MPA until this week. Interviews with the filmmakers that were pulled from set visits had led many to believe that Badlands would likely be...bloody-disgusting.com
