This Brighton game is our real test, I'm intrigued.
We beat Sunderland, who are playing well but are ultimately a promoted side, favourites for relegation. Following that we go and beat a poorly performing Liverpool side, in a game that requires very little additional motivation and allows us to play on the counter, particularly away at Anfield. This team have always been capable of that, it's nothing new.
Brighton have beaten us in most games over the past 2-3 seasons, we always struggle, and at Old Trafford there is an expectation we'll go out and attack them.
I would honestly take a draw, and if we lose, we need to have played really well, or we're back to square one. Amorim has to start building some momentum now.
My gut feeling is we're going to slump to another defeat, similar to Brentford - that's what typically happens after these false dawns, but confidence does seem high, maybe today things will finally change...
