I’m close to giving up on Gen V series 2. I quite enjoyed the first one, but it’s just naff now.

We are hooked on Celebrity Traitors having never watched the ordinary series. 8.5/10

The non celebrity one is better in my opinion.

Particularly the first series, the first series was the best by far.

Re watched season 4 of slow horses ready to binge watch the whole of season five when the final episode drops next week.

Just watched 4 for the first time. Brilliant again. Also waiting for them all to be aired and then binge 5. Watched all four series in a week, whilst working on pc !

Just finished Gen V season 2 and thought it was ok.
Not as good as the first season but decent overall and it seems to lead into the next season of the boys.

Recently finished Boots, which i really enjoyed.

Unfortunately, according to IMDB, there doesn't seem to be much else to check out by Scott Ryan, apart from a film he made a long time ago called 'The Magician'.

thats basically the same as the series but sorta worse quality.

Couple of episodes into season 2 of Foundation. Feels like it's way more cheesy than the previous season, hopefully it improves as I'm quite invested in the story.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season 1 enjoyed this to be honest 8/10.

Finished Leonard and Hungry Paul. Small comedy drama about two friends doing mostly everyday things. It is a lovely simple story told very well - narrated by Julia Roberts. Jamie-Lee O'Donnell is becoming a versatile good actor.

Just watched the first episode of Dept. Q. I'm not sure what I was expecting but it's far darker than i thought it would be, very good though.

Finished it last night. It's an excellent series, great characters, good story, and well enough put together twists that you can see what's coming and feel clever about it without it feeling obvious. You're right about it being darker than expected, it feels like a show with a cast of oddball detectives should be a little lighter but I think it works very well.

Recently finished 4 seasons of Yellowstone with the wife on netflix. 8/10
Both enjoyed it. Cowboy mafia family is how I'd describe it. Seem to just get away with everything and anything to keep their precious land.

I'm working my way through season 4 at the moment. It's an odd show because the people it centres are such a thoroughly vile bunch, even the more likeable ones are shameless killers. I think I only really root for the Native Americans. It's well written, well shot, and has a great cast of characters which makes it compelling regardless. So far it seems to be skirting the line of acting like the Duttons are heroes but I guess it'll take its Sons of Anarchy style turn in that direction eventually.

Gen v, thought it was better than the first season.

Slow horses, only started watching this a couple of weeks ago. Nice when you find something that has multiple series that flew under your radar. Excellent show.
S6 next year and s7 in the works. Nice!!

Gen V season 2.. enjoyed it.. set the scene nicely for the last season of "The Boys".. .

as an aside, I didn't realise the "Andre Anderson" character had died in real life, driving to start filming on season 2 of Gen V.
