People will still claim that these clowns know what they are doing. It's clear they don't.It was such a mess. I reckon they threw the VSC because DRS was still active and they **** themselves. And then removed it so Lando wouldn't finish under a yellow. All while Sainz's car was apparetly behind the barrier...

Great race. Masterclass weekend from Norris, exactly what he needed. Superb from Bearman, but Max/RB got that podium on strategy. Leclerc did what he could and was lucky to get the VSC there.
Hamilton got caught up in typical Max close racing but had only himself to blame for that penalty. Max was fortunate to avoid a penalty for that first corner, I know there's leniency on the first lap for good reason but still.
Mercedes just not quite good enough, but nice to see Kimi doing better. Took his chance but strategy and a slow stop cost him in the end.
Also, kudos once again to Bortoleto. Quietly impressive in mediocre machinery once again.

Good race and some very good driver but again FIA Stewarts have to but in or inconsistent.
LH should not have received 10 sec when others got 0 at the most he should have got 5sec.
This whole lap one thing is silly it's giving excuse for people to cheat.
Was it a different director this weekend very poor coverage add the terrible Sky people to it can't stand likes of Croft.

Absolutely imperious by Lando, the stewarding nonsense took some shine off it. But Lando should take hella credit here, he’s definitely turned a corner in the WDC. I’m hopeful.
Let’s hope so. RB will come away feeling very smug about what he got away with today. P3 totally undeserved and if it has a say on the WDC it’ll be a total shame.
But hell yeah Lando.

One of the best races in a not great season
Good race but just utterly baffling decisions all round by the stewards/FIA/TV direction. Also Crofty was particularly terrible this weekend, genuinely found myself just telling him to shut the **** up at times.
Why did we spend so long watching the battles in tiny window panels under the driver tracker? It felt like every overtake was missed!
Lap one turn one was a total farce, I'm surprised nothing happened to Leclerc (at least Ferrari telling him to swap) and was a little surprised Max was fine after just giving back the position to Hamilton. Every year they go 3 or 4 wide into T1 and every year 2+ cars bail out over the grass. At this point just make it a gravel trap.
Max lunge on Hamilton into T1 deserved an actual reprimand (not necessarily a penalty) because he essentially uses him as a brake to make the corner - but then even worst for me is in turn 4 as Hamilton goes to overtake him on the outside Max does his classic defence and outbreaks himself and doesn't even make the corner himself.
Overtaking in modern F1 has really suffered in the last 5+ years and I'm not sure what they do to address it. Appreciate this might not be a common take but I miss seeing Alonso gun it around the outside of MSC whilst making sure both have enough space - or seeing Jenson and Kimi battling through 6 corners all whilst not just dive bombing the apex and crying over the radio afterwards. Probably nostalgia on my side, I'm sure it was ***** then too!
Overall mega from Lando, really smashed it all weekend. Last 4 races should be interesting with his momentum, hopefully his peanut brain can shut out enough of the outside noise so he can focus on each race as it comes.

Oh, of course, it absolutely warrants a full course yellow VSC, for a car in a single sector. (Not on the track)

Yeah but the Race Director didn't really show us, and you had the commentators saying the car was behind a saftey barrier!
Revenge on Sainz for complaining when the Race Director showed his GF too much recently
