New Bambu Labs P2S

I had a clog in in the P2S today, I've never had a clog in the A1 in over a year and many rolls of filament through it. At least it's pretty easy to get to the nozzle and extruder
Interesting. It clogged in the extruded? Must admit I was nervous ordering the P2S and considering waiting it out a bit to see if any issues emerge. I hope they don’t

Well I ended up buying one last night. Took advantage of the silly bundles with filament and bought about 8 rolls and a 0.2 hot end. I did want a 3d cf effect build plate but doesn’t look like the p2s specific ones are out. I know I could have used an p1/a1 version but will but another time.

Will have to get my A1 ready for sale at some point.

nice. I’m wondering if I’ll hold off a minute and let the Black Friday sale pass before I sell my remaining A1’s

I regret not doing the filament now as I wasn't sure how much I'd want to use the AMS, but having it and seeing all the possibilities makes me want to fill my shelves with spools galore.

I did get the 0.2 hotend and the HF 0.4 though.

I ended up getting an array of filament. Couple of ABS for 9 quid a roll(refill) couple
Of pla, some, pla silk plus and some petg all for a tenner a roll on spools! I will probably grab the amd ht in future and will probably get another amd 2 pro at some time.

Looks like the discount for bulk buying will be higher in a few days.
Sorry when I said that I didn’t mean bulk I meant highly discounted when you buy a printer. As above the 1KG Refill ABS for £9 and 1KG Pla/PlaSilk+/petghf for £10.50 I don’t believe has ever been that cheap. Maybe for refill(can’t recall what I paid for some pla refills when I bought 6 a short while ago but think they are £10.99 with the bulk discount for buying 6.

That discount is going up in a few Daly’s for Black Friday , may already have gone up

Does anyone use a paving slab to dampen vibration and noise? I currently have mine on a reasonably heavy set of drawers and it seems to vibrate a fair bit even on standard print mode. I have heard you can get a paving slab and a bit of foam and it makes a big difference. I will be putting on a sit stand desk thats a little less robust than the drawers. They sell for £4.20 in Wickes so might nip and pick one up on the way home.

I've never tried the paving slab approach, I always go for the soft solution. Generally use hard foam under the table legs which stops vibrations transferring down to the floor.

I use that same Wickes slab on top of a layer of carpet underlay and a foam gym mat sandwiched in between. It works really well.

Great, I have got a bit of foam thats perfect size. Its going on a Sit Stand desk that is in my office that is designated for my printer stuff.. Its pretty sturdy and also has some drawers under so dont think it will go anywhere..

Need to sort something with for Filament Storage.
