Got an hour earlier since the update had my first go on oil map which was conquest mode

Started off difficult but we ended up winning and taking control, myself and few others went engineer and it stopped them steam rolling with tanks and saved the game in effect.

So my one go on the map ended up being quite fun.

Didn’t expect it based on what I’d read
 
I'd prefer to play the oil map than siege of cairo , I'm no expert on map design but it feels more like a battlefield map :)
 
I can’t even play this properly in the last couple of days.Randomly the CPU will drop to around 65fps on the in game framerate monitor,and the game becomes a blurry mess

Edit: it works fine on other games so I know it’s not a problem with my actual CPU

Just finished playing a short 2hr session, dont know whats got into people but had some cracking sessions tonight, squads playing as teams and support players reviving etc, every squad i was in each game came top 3 including 2 first places.

Maybe a lot of the muppets have gone over to redsec, im not sure, but tonight was well fun and how battlefield should feel!
 
So I just looked at one of the purchased skins as he ran across my viewpoint, aimed my gun at him. Flashy triangles all over the place, I had to quit and reload :eek:
 
still on atm but having some cracking games :) don’t get any of the hate on this so far.

I loved bf3/4 and bad company 2 previously as well others were cack

Like your core was overclocked too far in the old days you mean? I had this a lot in the beta.

For the first time in a couple of weeks I had an evening where everything felt & played right. No bad hit detection, lag or been killed by super bullets. Whatever the issue was I hope it's now fixed for the long term.

So downloaded the f2p version for battle royale which (weirdly enough) runs on my archaic vega without any messing with regedit.

Zero clue about this battle royale stuff, seems like a headless chicken mode with people taking pot shots at range. Just doesn't fit the game imo.
 
the servers and hit reg is so ******* poor tonight.
3 of us lagged out of a red sac game and then multiplayer is just garabage.
 
Last night while playing with some friends I got kicked for inactivity. The thing was I had just jumped off a pipe and run across an oil platform and jumped on to a oil tank and was actually shooting at someone. When all of a sudden my screen went blank and I thought I'd crashed but it turned out I'd been kicked for inactivity. I was like WTF???

They need to increase the inactivity time.I can just go to the toilet quick and I’m back on the home screen when I come back down
