Yeah, it reminds of a Kawasaki ZXR250 I rode once. 19,000rpm red line but with only 45bhp you thought you were doing 150mph but were in fact only doing 30.

I'd absolutely kill for a 250cc four banger Jap from the 90s. I'm sure I'd look sexy AF with all my fat rolls draped over the sides :cool:

Bikers are weird.

45hp is a tonne for something so light. 0 - 60 in about 4 seconds if you get it right, 30mph would be over and done with immediately.

I know you're exaggerating for comedic effect but they aren't exactly a Honda Grom

Of course, They were still fast. The point I was making though was that in order to get that 45bhp you needed to rev past 15,000rpm all the way up to about 18,000 which made an absolutely ridiculous noise considering you weren't actually going that fast. Even riding gently you were regularly in the 10,000rpm range.

My ancient ZZR has a 14k redline, I've pushed it past that a few times. It's quite weird, at first you're like YEAAAAHHHH and then after a few pulls it just feels normal. Even revving out the Mini feels a bit naughty, but the bike just begs for it constantly and doesn't feel naughty at all. I need to do a few ride-by vids so I can hear what others are hearing when I'm coming past at *cough* 70mph.
