Seriously tempted to pick up the UDR7 to start my journey into ubiquiti.

Longer term I want to add in a few cameras, extra internal ap and one outside to reach my garden room.

So I feel it would be a good foundation

Having overall pretty shocking WiFi experience at the moment. Some fun ping numbers:

I'm wondering if my AP is dying, or slightly dead from the power cut I had a while back. When I swap over to another cheap and cheerful AP I have lying around I get my normal speeds. Think I'll have to have a play around with some settings and check the connection quality a bit more in depth in the morning. Although signal strength is alright-ish. Hate troubleshooting WiFi in general.

I love the Unifi rack
12U Rack Cabinet
UACC-Rack-12U-Wall

Just HOW MUCH!!!

I've just been measuring one of those up, as I have a USW-Pro-XG-48-PoE arriving this week to condense a lot of stuff. However, it may be a little tight in my Excel cabinet, even though that is 600mm deep, due to rail location, etc..

Even though I've had the following from Ubiquiti Store, as I asked if it could be disassembled and then put back together at its location:

"The UACC-Rack-12U-Wall does come with removable side panels for easier access during installation. However, the rack’s main frame is a welded, solid structure, so it cannot be fully disassembled. For that reason, we wouldn’t recommend attempting to take it apart beyond the removable panels."

The UNAS-Pro-8 will also have the same depth issues as well, so it may be a Xmas project

I have one of these.
