What got you into doing this in the first place? I can’t fathom how you can figure out specifically what is broken on the PCBs

Long tho' it is, read this thread from the start. It's a very good read and you'll see how he's walked fearlessly into the unknown a number of times.
Its very much trial and error but eventually you see things you havent seen before and it doesnt take an age to find them its weird but honestly it just sort of happens. Also you learn how to use a multimeter and oscilloscope and yea they are super handy. Somebody is sending me a Jaguar to look at!!! been a while since Ive seen a Jaguar in the wild!

Not specifically an oled but I have done many lite screens over the years and the oled replacement isnt any different from just installing a normal panel in them. It's not a crazy difficult job.
Ah okay. Was just curious because I heard someone on YouTube mention it and I think it would be quite a nice little package!
Gonna be a huge few weeks ive got an absolute mass of machines coming in! some key details... 20 or so switches including a couple of oleds, 2x ps5's, series X. ps4's, xbox one systems, gamecubes, snes, ps2's, 4x 3ds... the list goes on and on and on and is a fairly significant investment (couple of k all in). Looking at around 60 or so systems over the next week and a half 
First little delivery is tomorrow as my supplier is still digging but i expect to have almost all of it here by the weekend with some more flowing in early next week. Gonna be a busy few weeks I recon.
First delivery tomorrow consist of:
1x Series X
1x Special Edition New 3ds XL
2x PS4's
2x One S
1x Pokemon Oled Switch
4x OG Switch
2x Switch Lite
1x Fortnight PS5 Pad
1x PS5 Pad
3x Elite 2 Pads.

Codemasters Cart! Pretty much all the codemasters games used their own custom cart design inclucding micro machines, micro machines turbo torny and a load of others

I took a load of pics of the more interesting switch repairs so ill throw em up at some point. Im 6 for 6 today and i might go and do the yellow one so I can finish switches in this batch before another 15 turn up tomorrow

Keeping up can be a bit of a mission I wont lie. If I could have a couple more hands we would be golden. admittedly my new electric screwdrivers have made things a lot quicker. Cant believe I struggled along doing everything manual for so long. Edit: Havent even posted all my new tools! schoolboy error, I started getting some pains a few weeks back after the 5th or 6th xbox of the day so I bought all new electric tools! Ill post some pics.

Also - have you modded a phat PS2 with an HDMI before? Looking at the electronanalog mod as I'm not after a perfect picture. Just wondering if you had any past experience.

Done a few but only on slims, I stopped taking fats unless they were special editions simply because they seem to be less desirable.
