it's obvious all protests in this country are purely political and of self interest a lot of the time.

none of them actually care about genocide.

Countries are likely staying quiet because they know how embarrassing peace keeping missions have been in the past, they didnt stop anything they merely documented it and watched.

and we can;t take in any genuine refugees because we're full of economic migrants

Aren't protests usually done to spark action from our government? Israel/Gaza has had lots of protests over here, partly because the UK government has historically supported Israel as an ally and sold weapons to them, thus it makes sense that there would be more protests compared to the current issue in Sudan which has seemingly been under reported on and is occurring in a country that the UK doesn't support with arms sales or consider an ally (to my knowledge. happy to be proven wrong).

Thats one very good reason

Another is that despite being in the middle east, Israel is very much a "western" nation, so for them to commit genocide is something we have some semblance of power over.

They're supported by the UAE. A country with whom we trade arms.

But the Palestine protests are happening in many countries, some that probably don't have any affect or say on what's happening or happened there.

I guess a factor is the population and communities of Muslims and Jews but it's not only them that have been protesting.

It's a fair point though about our relationship/history with Israel. And obviously involvement in the middle east.

I find it shameful and distasteful how some sports and sport people have followed the money so to speak. I guess that's what they do.

You're free to protest about the sudan

Who says not a genocide in gaza? By the IDF? That's like listening listening to Himmler saying it's not a genocide. Regardless, it is, it meets multiple points of genocide. 90%+ of buildings destroyed, and kill zones, where IOF kill and injure random people at will. including women and children.

The only people who it's saying it's not a genocide is the zionist lobby and it's supporters, or just want arabs murdered.

Sudan is a genocide as well.
