Oldest active account?

I was using OcUk around 1999 and this is my second account on the forums, the first is probably long gone in the 2002 nuke.

I was on chat call with a competitor a couple of months ago and they commented that my account was created 21 years ago!

I used to be a moderator on the Peugeot 205 GTI and 306 GTI-6 forums. Theres still FAQ articles I wrote on there! Showing my age!

OcUK was probably the second or third forum I used. I think I’d signed up to the pulse-jets forum and a hotrod forum before here, but probably no earlier than 2003.
 
I came to OcUK pre nuke asking for recommendations for a Graphics card to play RTCW. I ended up getting a Radeon 7500. I was using onboard graphics on my Tiny PC so was a massive upgrade.
 
Think I lurked on the forum around late 03 or early 04 when I built my first pc which I learnt how to do from a book (so old school ) mad to think it’s 20 years ago now.
 
what happened in the 2002 nuke? i honestly cant remember what happened , as said i had an old username, im still trying to remember if i created a new account of if my username was renamed

ill have to go back through the searches



Defenatly cant see my old account from 2002 anymore, hope i wasnt banned :D

    Heres mine, i need to sort out the inside of the case. Wires a mess but im gonna be stripping it and re-building it with my new P4 3.2 and Gigabyte board when it is delivered.sorry about the pic quality.

Do i get some sort of honour recognition for being a long time contributing member ? and speaking over 23,341 times?

I still need to look up old MR2 information every now and again. Makes me feel properly old when the search results include my own 20 year old posts from IMOC that I dont even remember posting.
 
I had to resign up but was as always, slightly LTTP.. 22 Oct 2002..

I don't remember the nuke, but must have been around well before that date..

I was here when Mark started the original forums way before 2002, again it was something the original owner didn't understand why they needed one, he also didn't understand selling on the Internet.
I was in the shop as normal when both Mark and Pete asked me to join and then I could give advice on there to newbies but to be honest I didn't do much, I liked the contact face to face in the shop.
I forgot what my original name was on those forums.
 
Pre nuke member here as well.. re-joined after the nuke on 20th Oct 2002. I had been on the forums quite a bit earlier than that maybe about 96-97 maybe?

I'd like to know when it was, I know somebody quite a few years ago had a screengrab of the original forums on here.
