Oldest active account?

Was here pre-nuke, but wouldn't have the foggiest if I had the same user name or anything.

I was on the forums and purchased parts from the Fenton place a couple of times when i was at my old job which would have be about 98/99 i think. Gawd knows, a looooong time ago!

I can remember setting up my account with a MASSIVE sig picture, the same one I used for the DVD forums... I got flamed for it.. lmao..

It's all detailed in post 3.

Not sure it was quite that early. @Werewolf?

/edit - I've checked back and according to Spie, OcUK started trading in June 1999. The tenth anniversary party was in 2009.
Ah must have been about then. I do seem to remember there was an ESNET sign by the door you went in to the counter,

We shifted to Xenforo in the early hours of Feb 14th 2017. That's the long night I referred to earlier.

Anyone still in touch with…

Piggymon and Desmo, Belmit, Huddy, Gilly, Mohinder, Mattblack (ah, loads more but brain struggling)

Pretty sure I was here pre nuke but then didn’t sign up again for a while
I remember a different forum before this in 2002, I didn't register to this one until quite a few months into it running I know that much thinking back.

I don't interact with them much these days, but I see updates from Pigmo and MB on facebook fairly regularly

Why, hello thar!!!

Only person I still see regularly is Piggymon :p

I still browse here quite a bit but don't post too often. Mainly checking out motors and the bikes section.

I'm pre nuke, re-signed up a couple of days after the nuke. But I was originally registered in 1998 or 1999 I think. Can't exactly remember.

I've been on here longer than I've been married

I always feel sorry for the original owner Pete.
He was a very clever man and got Uni degrees in IT/Computers but he had no vision like Mark.
When Mark bought him out he setup a Kit Car company just round the corner from OCUK in Duke Street but I don't think it lasted.
The last time I saw him he was in a huge queue at OCUK when it was now Mark's and I said "Bloody hell Pete you used to own this", I don't think he was impressed.
I'm looking at his page on Facebook, he's aged.
